Doris Anne Sands

Peacefully on August 21, 2025 Doris Anne Sands passed away. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Sands; beloved mother of Stephen Sands and Barbara Agee (and her husband Tommy); caring grandmother of Tim Wright and Josh Wright; dear great-grandmother of Reagan Wright, Sydney Wright, Henry Wright, Xander Wright, Josie Wright, and Brady Dillon; she was predeceased by her siblings and survived by many other relatives and friends.

Doris was a homemaker for most of her life, working hard to make happy home for her family. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Two family dogs gave her much joy for many years. In later years, the neighborhood stray cats knew where to come for some food and a warm, comfortable place to sleep. Her other passion for many years was arts and crafts. She enjoyed making crafts to give to her family, friends and neighbors.

Family members and friends may visit on Tuesday August 26th from 2-3PM where a funeral service will take place at 3PM. Interment will be private.
