Dolores "Kay" Knabe

Dolores “Kay” Knabe, age 78, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2022. She is the beloved wife of P. Raymond Hughes, Jr.; wonderful and amazing mother of Leah Ziegler; phenomenal grandmother of Emanuel Christopher Ziegler, Jr. and Katie Colvin; loving sister of Barbara and her late husband Reid Oliver, Kathy and her husband Ron Carroll; also survived by 5 nieces and 1 nephew, other loving relatives and friends, especially everyone at the Lighthouse Senior Living Community “The Village” in Ellicott City.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Friday from 3-7pm with a funeral service taking place Saturday at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kay’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
