On July 31, 2018, Dennis D. Docherty peacefully passed away. He was the beloved husband of Vera Docherty; father of Patrick and Scott Docherty; step-father of Ronald, Jeffrey, and Jeanette Woodhouse; grandfather of Shirley Harrow, Jeffrey Woodhouse, Jr., and Donald "DJ" Bloom; also survived by his sister Nora, and many other family members and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Friday August 10th, from 6-7:00pm, where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his memory to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County 1815 Bay Ridge Ave. Annapolis, MD. 21403.
