Deborah (Debbie)(Gert) Elaine Cook, the daughter of the late Richard and Rita Weishorn, born December 5, 1957 joined the love of her life the late Melvin Ray Cook, on February 28, 2022. She was also proceeded in death by the late Lula Essex (the significant other of Richard).
She is survived by her loving daughter and best friend Rita Graham and her husband Chris, as well as her other loving daughter Marie Cook Brown and her husband Kevin and her fur baby and companion Cuddles.
She was the cherished grandmother of Brittany Graham, Devin Delauder (Brittany Long), Kailey Delauder, Seth Graham, Aidan Delauder, Hailee Brown and Paige Puller. She was the also the proud great grandmother of Jackson Delauder.
Deborah is also survived by her sister Donna Shugars and her husband Tom, her brother Kevin Weishorn and his wife Laurie, her sister Victoria Clark and her husband Butch, as well as her youngest brother Steven Weishorn. She is also leaving behind many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Debbie was known for her sense of humor and playing pranks on her family members. She had the biggest heart and was willing to help or befriend any one she met. She loved spending time with her late husband Melvin, children and grandchildren. Playing games with her family and friends which often included the late Mrs. Tina Billiat and Tina’s mother Alice was also something she cherished.
Just a few of Debbie's favorite hobbies included, tinkering in the garden and hosting family gatherings which included her famous potato salad, until she was unable to do that anymore. Debbie loved to travel, whether it was taking a cruise in the hot rod with her beloved Melvin or taking a cruise across the ocean with some of the people she loved most. She also loved trips to the store as we all know she had a passion for shopping. Debbie enjoyed dining out with family and friends, where often she would order crab-cakes and a mudslide. If you found her at home, it would be curled up eating chocolate while watching the Hallmark Channel. In the past, you could find Debbie rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers with her late father Richard.
