Cecilia L. Kato

On February 6th, 2025, Cecilia L. Kato passed away. Born on February 16th, 1951 to the late Margaret and late Leroy McCurley, Cel was the loving wife of William Kato; devoted mother of Angela Jagger and husband Thomas, Kelly Kato and partner Greg Fletcher, Rick Kato and wife Helen, the late Billy Kato and surviving wife Mary; cherished grandmother of Amber and husband Alex, Tiff and husband Danny, Brett, Aubrey, Dominic, Kyle; caring great grandmother of Alison, Mason, and Braxton; dear sister of Steven McCurley and wife Regina, the late Leroy McCurley and late wife Beverly, and the late David McCurley. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held at our Arbutus location on Wednesday, February 12th from 5 PM to 7 PM, with a funeral service starting at 7 PM.
