Brenda Nelson, age 68, sadly passed away on July 3, 2024. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to William and Shirley Welsh. Brenda is the beloved wife of Norman Nelson, Sr.; loving mother of Tasha Joyce Millward, Norman Nelson, Jr., and Shawn Nelson; cherished grandmother of Anna Nelson, Matthew Weatherley, Brittni Nelson, Summer Nelson, Shawn Nelson, Jr., Sunny Nelson, Sebastian Nelson, Sloane Nelson, Joshua Humphrey, Jordan Humphrey, Norman Nelson, III, Justin Nelson, Alayna Nelson, and Nora Nelson; caring great-grandmother of Ashton Gross and Alivia Souders; dear sister of Darlene Welsh. Brenda is also survived by many loving friends.

Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, July 9 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm and Wednesday, July 10 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11 at 11:00am.
