Barbara Doyle

Barbara A. Doyle (nee Simpson), age 90, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2017. She was born on March 2, 1927 in Newburgh, NY. Barbara is a 1943 graduate of Havre de Grace High School. She attended nursing school at University Hospital in Baltimore and in the late 1970’s went back to Catonsville Community College and completed her RN. She then went on to work most of her career at St. Agnes Hospital. She was a proud member of the Ascension and St. Augustine Parish.

Barbara is the beloved wife of the late James E. Doyle; loving mother of Dennis Michael Doyle, Mary Ellen Birchenough, John Kevin Doyle, Barbara A. Knight, James G. Doyle, and the late Mark G. Doyle and Joseph Patrick Doyle; dear sister of Dorothy Bebb, Marsha Dunaway, and Madeline Brunty; cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
