Barbara Louise (Tierney) Buckingham, 88, of Grasonville, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017.Born July 11, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Carroll Tierney and Katherine Ziegler Tierney. For close to 20 years, she helped to manage the Breaker’s Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. Mrs. Buckingham is the beloved wife of the late Mordecai & is survived by: two sons, Mordecai and David; five grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, David, Jason, Lesley, three great-grandchildren, Christopher. Nathan, and Hannah; and her sister Ceil.
The family will receive friends Friday, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Ambrose Funeral Home in Lansdowne, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lansdowne on Saturday at 9:30AM. The interment will immediately follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
