Alverta Dockins
February 18, 1941 — August 19, 2017
Peacefully on August 19, 2017 Alverta "Vertie" Dockins passed away. Alverta was survived by her good friend and caregiver Vickie Swindell; her close friends Shirley Clarke, Judy Giron, Dr. Edna Mae Merson, Lucille Stickel, Carol Bender, & Joan Hensley; her church family at the First Baptist Church of Lansdowne; and her adopted family of High School Chums. Alverta was very proud to be the owner and facilitator of D & R Dump Truck Services from 1974-1985.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the First Baptist Church of Lansdowne on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Where a funeral service will be held for Alverta on Saturday, August 26, 2017 starting at 11:00 am.
