Allen Sylvester Hanline, age 83, transitioned to Heaven on 8 September 2026 with his family by his side at his home and under the care of Gilchrist Hospice.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Earl and Ada Hanline; his three sisters, Bonnie Mick, Betty Rummel, and Wanda Paugh; his brother, Kenneth Hanline; and his nephew, Garry Paugh.

He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and lots of jokes, memories that will forever remain in our hearts. He took his roles as provider and protector of his family seriously. He was a truck driver for over 40 years and received numerous safe driving awards. At English Consul Volunteer Fire Department, he drove the engine and obtained his EMT IV certification to serve on the ambulance. He was a Christian and attended Halethorpe Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to English Consul Volunteer Fire Department, St. Jude, or Samaritan's Purse.
