Alex Shipley, Sr.
January 13, 1944 — January 15, 2019
Alex Carl Shipley, Sr., age 75, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019. He is the beloved husband of Diana Shipley; cherished father of Alex Shipley, Jr., Diana Shipley and her fiancé Michael Lambert, and her late twin Dawn Shipley; loving grandfather of Keith Brown, Alex Shipley, III, Kayla Shipley, Michael and Melina Lambert, and Elijah Shipley. Alex is preceded in death by his brothers James Shipley and Archie Shipley.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne on Tuesday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alex’s memory to MCVET 301 North High Street, Baltimore MD 21202 to help struggling veterans.
