Dear Sue, I was Larry's second cousin; my Mom was Angela (Wineke), a sister of Larry' grandfather. My children attended the benefit for Larry years ago to raise money for his heart replacement. I met Larry once at one of the Wineke cousins funerals. I was very proud of Larry's accomplishments as a coach and mentor. He was just ten years older than my oldest son, much too young to be gone. I am so sorry for your tragic loss, but I can see how Larry made his time here on earth count for all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. The world has lost an angel, but heaven has gained one.
